The
second aircraft is a A-20J with the 410 BG/ 644 BS. The paint scheme is Olive Drab on top and Neutral Gray on the
underside. There are patches of Medium Green on the leading edge of the
tail and on the sides of the tail. The rudder control, surface
is black and white striped. This plane has D-Day stripes on
the lower rear fuselage and on the top and bottom of the
wings. The artwork on the side on the nose is a young boy in a
leather flying helmet and the yellow text "Bill" next to
the artwork. The
artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.
On
the side of
the rear fuselage are the white code letters "5D G". The prop spinner cones
are red.
The noseart decals are delicate and two are included
for each plane in case
you mess up the first ones. Exacting
instructions are included on how to prepare and install these decals…..read
these instructions carefully to avoid disaster. Apparently these noseart decals are very thin and need
special care, but once installed they will look very accurate and realistic.
The nose art decals are printed on a one piece decal sheet, so you’ll
need to cut the decal free from the rest of the decal film…..patience is the
key here. The noseart decal is
beautifully printed with fantastic detail and lovely shading.
