Hello
from Greece, again! This time it is my 1/48 Tamiya T-33 I want
to share with you. As always, Tamiya make excellent models as far as both
the quality and the quantity of details are concerned. It was a quite
relaxing build, since I used no filler - amazing fit - and no aftermarket
products at all. No panels were opened and no other improvement was made
save for the seat belts and some wire for the wheels' braking system.
The
only aftermarket product I used, was the Plastimodelismo H.A.F. decal
sheet. The model was highly weathered with washes, drybrushing and paint
chipping. It was painted exclusively with Humbrol enamel colours and its
camouflage scheme depicts a target-towing aircraft. My only complaint
concerning the kit has to do with the cockpit area and especially the side
panels and the instruments board. Had I the time and the mood, I would
have made new ones from scratch. But, as it has already been told, I
wanted this one to be an easy and relaxing project.
