I've always loved
the grungy look of the TPS paint scheme on naval aircraft. One thing I
like about the A-7 is that it has more hardpoints to hang ordnance on.
The build and fit
are straight forward. I had a bit of trouble with the intake seam and
where the front wing meets the fuselage. I
used Eduard photo etched cockpit and a resin seat.

The AGM-88 is from
an F-16 kit and the bombs are from the Hasegawa bomb kit. RBF tags are
also from Eduard.
I scratch built the
deck from a for sale sign; painted it with Tamiya German Grey, White, yellow and
Tamiya smoke for weathering. Tie downs are from Tom's Model Works.
Chock and tow bar are made from Evergreen plastic rods. Chains are made
from jewelry chain.
