This is my Tamiya
J2M3 Raiden (Jack) in 1/48 scale just added to my aircraft of the case
collection. Its an OOB build with
focus on weathering. Simple silver painted over with black and stripped (and
touched up where even the silver came off).
Its Lt Yoshihiro Aoki’s aircraft at Knoya when he flew with the 352 AG
against B-29s over Kyushu. The pic
shows him 2nd left briefing his pilots.
In the below pic
farthest to the right, I've parked the Raiden next to another of my ‘aces’
aircraft, the Hasegawa, A6M2 type 22 flown by Nishizawa. I loved doing the
weathering and hasty painting on this aircraft.
