After the victory by the 501st Legion on Hoth, it was time to blow off some steam since blowing the rebel scum off the planet. Newly promoted Admiral Piett had his men roll out the big ball and have a soccer game in the snow with the effort to show Lord Vader that he too wouldn't choke. Echo base would prove to be an excellent goal for the AT-AT to defend after they seized it. The much smaller and nimbler AT-ST (chicken walkers) pulled out the punches and even used some over the head move to score a goal, later..in a galaxy far far away to be copied by the famed Pele.

The kits are Bandai AT-AT in 1/144 scale and double kits of Imperial AT-ST and Rebel SnowSpeeder also look to be 1/144 scale but not clearly identified.
I'm really impressed with the level of detail on both the AT-ST and the AT-AT, having the 1/35 scale AT-AT would be awesome but I can't have one take up my whole living room. Painted in Life color Light grey with a light home made dye wash. Basing was leftover styrofoam from Christmas presents and cut with a hot knife and the soccer ball was a foam ball pack from the local dollar store. I hope you enjoy and have a great year, May the Force be with you!!
