This is
my 20th 1/48 scale Canadian Hornet, also my 58th in the grand total of Hornet
builds. This time it is the 425 squadron special for the 1984 air show season.

The
Hasegawa kit was used with a resin seat and Leading Edge decals. Word has it the
one of our own ARC member flew this airframe back in the day while it was still
painted in these colours.

So, it is a model of
a plane first delivered around 1984, as flown in 1994, built by me in 2014, and
the real airframe due to fly past 2024. Also included is a photo of a 1/72
version of this kit built around 15 to 20 years ago.
