1/48 Revell F-84E Thunderjet

Here are some pictures of my recently completed Revell F-84E Thunderjet built straight out of the box.  It's a Dutch Airforce fighter from the early fifties and was based on Volkel airfield in the south of Holland.  The model fit together quite well and I think Revell did a great job by creating this model.

I spraypainted the model with conventional spray tins as I don't have an airbrush yet and I still have to practice a lot. For the cockpit interior, I used Gunze-Sangyo 312 green. I tried weathering the model with black waterbased paint and it came out quite well. The decals Revell supplies with the kit are great quality, so I used them.
